THE T-O-Y PLAYERS.
Joan and Betty Bayner are opening their Christchurch season at the' Badiant Hall on Friday with a Troubadour programme. One of the characteristics of this novel exposition of dramatic art is that with each change. of programme a complete change. of atmosphere ie experienced. The Bayner Sisters- have achieved the national feeling of eaoh country into which they have been, and in the manner of tlie strolling, troubadours of old rely principally upon their" art to give the desired atmosphere for their production. The Sydney "Bulletin" says of their work : "A mere folk-song as they sing and act it is a one-act play. which does what one-act plays rarely do—gives a sense of satisfaction, seems complete, is shut in at both ends. Their complete t>ill is in much the same way. It leaves the feeling that it is memorable. . ." The programme, will be repeated on Monday night.
