DETECTIVE'S HOME BOMBED.
FAMILY NOT INJURED. (OIIITBD F&ISS ASSOCIATION—BI BLBCTXIC TELEOJIAPH -COPrEIOHT.) MELBOURNE, December 8. Early this morning the home of Detective Dunn, at St. Kilda, was bombed. Th© front of the house was wrecked, but the family, who were asleep, were uninjured. Detective Dunn has been active in enquiries concerning Communists, and it is thought that the bombing was a reprisal. The fire brigades prevented the flames from completely destroying the home.
