LABOUR CANDIDATE.
TERM OF IMPRISONMENT. MELBOURNE, December 8. Mr Noble Kerby, Independent Labour candidate for Melbourne Ports, was arrested on 24 warrants of commitment. These were for unpaid lines for breaches of motoring laws. Kerby was taken to gaol to begin a term of four months' imprisonment. His friends are continuing the campaign for him.
