A Trujillo dispatch reports that ten persons were killed and thirteen wounded in fighting between citisens and tho police at Paijan on tho eve of tho inauguration of the Presidentelect, Colonel Luis Sanchez Cerro. Most of the dead and wounded were members of the party which supported Senor Victor de la Torro in his Presidential campaign. [There has been much political unrest in Peru this year due particularly to tho Presidential and .general elections. Colonel Sanchez. Cerro, the deposed provisional President, was opposed by Senor de la Torre, who is a graduate of Oxford, commanding the support of intellectuals, young radicals, and the student groups.,"]
