ISSUE OF TREASURY NOTES. !CK'.Tr.D PRESS ASSOCIATION —BT EL£C7*tC TEI.IGRAPH—CO PTBIOHT.) (Received December 7th, 7.20 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 6. The Secretary of the Treasury, Mr A. W. Mellon, has announced three new issues of Treasury notes and certificates totalling 1,300,000,000 .dollars will be offered immediately to aid the meeting of tho Governmbnt Departmental operating expenses. Of that sum 600,000,000 'dollars in one year notes will bo offered at 3i per cent.; 300,000,000 dollars in six-months' certificates at 2} per cent.; and 400,000,000 dollars in ninemonths 1 securities at 3 per ce^it.
