COAL FROM THE WEST COAST MINES AWAITING SHIPMENT.—A shortage of shipping was responsible for this accumulation of trucks on the waterfront at Greymouth recently. A large number of vessels are engaged in the West Coast coal trade, and, in addition, a considerable quantity of coal is railed through the Otira tunnel.
