Ex-King Husein died at Cyprus before his son, King Feisal of Iraq, crfuld arrive by aeroplane. [Husein ibn Ali was Grand Sherif and Emir of Mecca from 1908 to 1916. He was made King of the Hijaz in November, 1916, and Caliph on March 7th, 1924. He abdicated on October 3rd, 1925. King Feisal of Iraq is his third son by the Sherifa Abriiya, daughter of Ilusein's uncle, Abdulla V. King Feisal was proclaimed King of Syria in 192?0. He abdicated four months later; but was elected and proclaimed King of Iraq in August, 1921. He married, in 1906, the Sherifa Huzayma, daughter of his father's brother, the Sherif Nazir.]
