■ —r: » BOROUGH RESERVES. The many reserves about the town of Lyttelton which are under the care of the Council's forester, Mr J. lialliday, are now at their best,' and are well worth inspection. The large bank between Britain terrace and Cressy , terrace cannot 'ail. to attract the admiration of those who pass the West Lyttelton School and the reserve in Simeon quay is also in good order. The small bank at the top of Dublin street is vrell kept. The ornamental shrubs on the bank in Bipon street, between "Oxford and Canterbury streets, havq just been clipped, and with tbe neat lawn and new fence the reserve bears a striking appearance. Bowling. The gollowing rinks' have been selected to represent the Lyttelton Bowling Club in the Pennant matches to be played on Saturday:— v. Edgeware, at Edgeware—J. X. Neville, J.' Scott, J. E.
