At Westbury, Long Island, twentyfive polo ponies owned by the Asliton brothers, of Goulburn, New South Wales, were sold at auction on Saturday for a total of 77,600 dollars. The prices exceeded all expectations, due to lively bidding. Several were favourite mounts. Isobel, a bay mare, aged six years, brought 10,000 dollars from J. 6. Cooley. Winstone Guest, the American team back, purchased Coaster, a ten-year bay gelding, for 5100 dollars.
