FIVE WORKERS KILLED. (UKITXD PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received August 31st, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 30. Five miners wore killed and nine were seriously injured in an explosion in a Blantyre colliery. One of those killed began work today after a long period of unemployment. His wife was ill when she heard the nows. The accident is attributed to firedamp.
