EXCURSION FROM ASHBURTON. As well as being instructive the Winter Show has proved itself to be a very popular entertainment. Yesterday a largs excursionfrom. Ashburton visited. the show, the' cbil-' dreii in the party paying particular, attention to- the side-shows and to the .Punch and Judy allow. The party went home after a, thorough inspection. Items were given by' Margaret Middleton's -Orchestra and there was au exhibition of dancing by Miss I/arge's pupils. . : , . The attendance figjyres for yesterday show a Blight decrease wEen compared with the figures for the corresponding day last' year, but they, do not. include the excursion from Ashburton. ■ To-day an excursion from. .
