RICCARTON CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION.
—: —♦ MEETING HELD. A meeting of the Uieearfc*, ,i Citizens' Association was held last evening, Mr R. W. Brighting presiding. There was an attendance of a score of members. Mr F. George wrote tendering his resignation from tTie Association. The letter was received and Air j! J Staples moved that the president interview .Mr George with a view to his reconsidering his resignation. Mr A. P. Fisher seconded the motion, stating that the loss of .Mr George's services to the Association would be a great one if his resignation went through. The motion was carried.
