CONTRACT FOB SHOPS AND ROADWAY.
Messrs Boyle Brothers, tjrninage contractors, havb been given the contract for the erection of 40 two-storeyed shops and the construction of the roadway in Regent street, which will join Gloucester and Armagh streets between Colombo and Manchester streets. The contract price is about £32,000, and the time limit is twelve months.
As the leases of the properties affected by tho construction of the new street run out, the Regent Street Company will take possession. A month or so will elapse before the contract can be commenced. The whole of tho share capital for Rpgent street has been provided for, and the debentures are also being dispose! of satisfactorily.
