DATE OF RETIREMENT. The City Treasurer (Mr J miter, Anderson) having given notice of Ins intention to retire from the Council's service on reaching the age limit, the Hy-lnws and Finance Committer recommended to the Council lust tuglit that the date of his retirement be fixed for October 31st. 1!KK), and that ho he granted bix months' leave, of absence on full pay, commencing on May Ist. 19;K). The Committee, further recommended that Mr J. \V.
