FORGERY AND UTTERING.

HAMILTON, July 18
In the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Herdman sentenced William Augustine Lagan, of Christchurch, to two years' probation on charges of forgery and uttering at Rotorua and Greymouth. Lagan is already serving three months' imprisonment for false pretences.
