A remarkable incident occurred at the Miramar Golf Club in the foursome, a senior with a junior over 18 holes, Itarsden and Hughes beating Daniel! and Mack one op at . the 54th hole. They were all square on the first and second rounds, and at the 53rd hole in the third round. The losers were stymied at the 54th hole. Daniell, forgetting he had n stroke in hand, putted for the hole, knocking his opponent's ball in, and giving them the match. The three rounds were played the same day.
