At the Leichhardt Stadium to-night, Billy McAlister (Bst 4Ub) holder of the bantam championship of Australia, defended his title against Teddy Green (Bst ljlb). McAlister, who was very confident, used a right-left to the body and face and gained the dicision on a foul in the seventh round. Green opened McAlister's eye and was constantly butting the latter in the stomach with his head, and brought McAlister to the boards in the seventh on a foul in great pain.—Australian Press Association.
