STRAND THEATRE.
"California," starring Tim McCoy, heads the bill at the Strand Theatre this week. It is a story by Peter B. Kyne, and tells of a, dashing captain of marines who not only helped to conquer California but at the same time won tho heart and hand of a most beautiful Spanish senorita, whose father opposed the coming of the foreigners. McCoy is seen as Captain Gillespie. . "Pyjamas," starring Olive Borden, episode 9 of "Tho Trail of the Tiger," a comedy, a cartoon, and a topical complete the offering.
