VICTORIA LEAGUE.
At a meeting of the Victoria League Mrs Deans presided. It was agreed to rent an office in Cathedral Chambers, the Shopping Week Empire Ball Committee reported that arrangements were well in hand.. lb was agreed that bridge tables be provided. Miss Skoglund forwarded her summary on educational correspondence and reported having linked up a total of 194 names with the League. It was agreed that congratulations be sent to the Women's Club on the stand it took in connexion with women's rest rooms, etc., in Cathedral square. Arrangements for the qaurterly entertainment were discussed.
