♦ (PEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GISBORNE, May 15. A freight lorry driven by A. Aislabie, which had got out of control, struck and shattered an electric light pole, bringing down a line carrying a 6000 volt charge. The driver had a narrow escape.
