OPEN-AIR SCHOOLS' LEAGUE.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE PBEBS. Sir, —I must really apologise for again trespassing on your valuable space. May I, however, be permitted a very brief reply to "X's" letter in vour issue of May 12th. That the Open-Air Schools' League is interested in problems incidental to the school life of children, especially those which have reference to the establishment of such active and open-air conditions of schooling as are necessary for the child's mental and physical welfare, shows very cleariy that their views on the subject are very wide indeed. "X" and ourselves are agreed on one point, namely, that an open-air classroom should have at least one side capable of being completely opened, and this is the point at issue. I have _ received a personal letter from "X" in which he suggests that we should meet and discuss details, and this I agree is the best way of clearing up any misunderstandings between us.—Yours, etc., J. S. DAWE, Hon. Secretary, Open-Air Schools' League.
