One leit a message saying that he was gom* on a glorious adventure, another said he believed life would become a burden, a third wrote that he feared ho would lose his mind, and a fourth destroyed himself, titer amateur theatricals, in the school auditorium where he had been received with great applause. Tho most affecting case was that of the son of the noted American poet, Louis Untermeyer. The youngster killed himself shortlv after beinc visited by his father.
