DOBSON MINE.
MINERS URGE UNWATBRING OPERATIONS.
(PBESS ASSOCUTIOS TELIOBAM.) GRETMOUTH, February 14. At a meeting of the West Coast Miners' District Council the secretary of the Council was instructed to wire tho Minister for Mines as follows: ''Tho West Coost miners see no reason why the unwatering of the Dobson mine should not bo commenced within the next few days. We also consider that it is our duty to the widows and orphans to take the necessary action to ensure that there is no further delav in recoverinc the bodies of the victims of tho Dobson disaster." The Miners' Council also unanimously decided tc endorse the action of the seamen in removing from office Messrs W. T. Young, secretary, and Howell, assistant secretary, and decided that they will recognise no union of seamen except the old one, and further that the miners will make every effort to ensure tho new official* being recognised as the Seamen's Union reprepresentatives on the board of direetprt of the "New Zealand Worker and tho Alliance 0/Labour.
