RICCARTON SEAT. About forty supporter* of Mr H. S. S. Kyle, Reform candidate for Rk> carton, held a meeting in St. BarhaTiaa schoolroom, Fondalton, last night. Various committees were formed and resolutions guaranteeing; the candidate support and expressing confidence in tho present Government were car. ried. A similar meeting will be held in tho Oddfellows' Hall, Upper Kiccarton, to-night. ELLESMERE ROLL. The general roll of electors for - Elleamere, which has already made its appearance, contains 7695 names, as against 7288 on the proTisionaJ roll issued in May last. The total number of names on the general and supplementary (oils for the 1992 election was 8266. The Registrar (M» W. A. Sawyer, Loeston) reports that names for the supplementary roll are coming in steadily. NELSON. . (PBESS ASSOCIATION TXLtCRAM.) <■ NELSON, September 15. The Nelson branch of the Labour, Party has been advised that the nomination of 'Mr T. Bundle, of Wellington, president of the New Zealand labour Party, as the Labour candidate for the Nelson seat has been confirmed. OTAKI. (PBESS ASSOCUTIOK TJLSGJU'I.) x LEVIN, September 15. Mr C. J. Harknoss has been selected by.the Nationalist Party as a candidate for the Otaki seat. MR J. C. THOMSON RETIRING. (SPBCIAi TO "TKB SaXSS,") WELLINGTON, September 15. Mr J. C. Thomson, the member for Wallace, has informed tho executive of the National Party that he will not be a candidate at the next election.
