Clynes reviewing the Trader Union C«j« gross, said that objectives of tho Reds wore duo less to influence from Moscow than to wage-redactions and growing unemployment.. "Our outlook on Moscow," said Mr Clyncs, "docs not arise from any wish to copy Bolshevism. Only a few who do not know British history and character, sook to imitato the conditions which if applied to England would hasten our own ruin. Wo noed not prepare to resist i*nything by force of arms and violenco which would intensify the evils from which we are suffering, ending in starvation of the working class, and leaving problems unsettled after the fight. "Tho idea •of revolution,", concluded Mr Clynes, "is entertained hj.»; a minority .which is largely without knowledge of the development of organised Labour in Great Britain."
