(Supplied by the Postal Department.) Vails close as under:— To-day (Wednesday), September 16th. For Australian Stater, South Africa, and the East, per Maheno, at Auckland, at 5.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.45 i>4n.; guard's van. 6.50 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, at 5.15 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.45 p.m.; iruard's van, 6.50 p.m. train. Parcels, 4 p.m. Outgoing Overtoil Mails. Mails'which left Wellington on July 21st arrived in London on August 18th. Mails which left Auckland on Angus: 4th via "Vancouver arrived London September 4th. Incoming Overseas Kails. R.M.S. Niagara left Vancouver for Auck- j land on August 26th. Letter portion due in Christehurch to-day, and papers to-morTovc. Maheno left Sydney for Auckland on September J Ith. She has 19 bags of mail for Christchorch. Letters due Christehurch Thursday, September 17th. H. P. DONALD, Chief Postmaster.
