A Bill has been introduced into tho Florida (U.S.A.) Legislative Assembly to make it unlawful to call girls"flappers," on the ground of such a name being against the dignity of the State's womenfolk. The proposer, in introducing the Bill, said: — "I resent the reference to the young women of Florida that th«y are like a house, painted in front, shingled in the back, and empty in the atticj and 1 trust this measure will meet with serious consideration."
