A meeting of the Eidgeiy Lodge, 2v3. ZO, 1.0.0. F., was hold on Wednesday, Acting K.G. Bro. K. Jackson presiding. Motions of sympathy were passed to Bros. Crass and HcCajnmon, in their recant be reave men is. The eick visitors ini(de their reports, and the sum ci £ll 153 in sick pay was passed for payment. Two new members vrcro initiated into tho order, and seven applications for membership were received. Correspondence was read from Washington Lodge accepting the invitation for a return match at cards, also extending an invitaiioji to Bidgely membera to attend an address by Hr Manaing, of tho AV.E. Association, at their next meeting'. A letter from tho N.C. District Degree Lodge, stated that a, meeting weald be held on August 13th, when the ftrat degree would be conferred. Bro. AY. MoConnell said that the Jumblo Sale would bo held on September sth. Tho appointment of committees for the ensuing term were held over, until nest meeting. P.G. Bro. AY. Greenslade stated that tho Ladies' Committee had recently run a children's fancy dress ball, which had been a huge success, and he thought that they would be, holding another one in the nenr future.
