The Institute has been well used by tha seamen visiting tho Port during the pa«t week. The comfort provided is very much appreciated and highly spoken of by . tho men. It was reported that thu recent concert .in aid. of tJae fund for the> mothere' cottage- at Karitane had been veity sucoe*ful. Is was decided to hold a- children's fancy dress p»Tty on August ECth, At the mothers sooiml afternoon on Friday next, Mibo LSndwnaw, matron of Karitane, will give an address.
