DRAINAGE WORKS.
PROPOSED CO-OPERATIVE CONTRACTS. The "Works Committee of the Drainage Board, which met on Thursday afternoon, discussed at some length the proposals in respect of co-operative contracts in connexion with the scheme for the extension of the drainage system which were placed before its members at a conference with representatives of the workers held last Tuesday afternoon. Tho recommendations arlived at by tho committee will come before a special meeting of the Board which is to be held next Tuesday evening.
