The vessel is expected at Wellington on August 6th. The C. and D. Lino has received a. radio message from the Port Curtis, on route from Ijondon, stating that the vessel is meeting with h«avy weather, and now expects to reach Wellington jo-morrow.

Notes. The Corinna arrived from 04ma.ru yesterday, and after loading general cargo sailed for Lyttelto.h, "Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth last night. The Storm got in from Oamaru yesterday morning, and after lifting a cargo of general piroduce sailed later in the day for the north, via Lyttelton. The Gale is cow due from LytteJfon on Monday to load for the south. The TVaikouaiti is expected hero from Dunecun and Oamaru on Wednesday to discharge cargo. She will go on k> Lyttelton the same day. The Kamo is due here from "Vfeatport on Tuesday with a load of coal. The Canopus is due at the beginning of next mdnth with a cargo of coal from the West Coast. FOLLOWED OLD CHARTS THE BRISBANE'S MISHAP. SYDNEY, July 25 B-SLA.S. Brisbane was. towod off by H.M.A. sloop Marguerite. At the time of tha mishap the cruiser was following the course laid down in the Admiralty charta many years ago lor sailing vessels. Locally these charts are considered- obsolete and unsafe. The accident has led t-o a i demand fat & icaurvsy.
