At a meeting of shareholders of the Christchurch Starr-Bowkett Building Society held on Wednesday evening, the ballot in No. 1 group resulted in ball No. 28 being drawn the cluster being held by three member 3 who thereby obtained free loans of £6OO. £2OO and £2OO respectively. The sale in this group resulted in £7OO being disposed of at a premium of £25 Is per £IOO. The ballot in No. 2 group resulted in ball No. 265. being drawn, one shareholder becoming entitled.' to a free loan of £IOOO
