John Broderick, aged 56 years, pleaded guilty to being an idie and disorderly person, in that he had insufficient lawful means of support. Accused said he had plenty of nioney. Senior-Detective T. Gibson said accused persisted in asking people about town for money. Accused was sentenced to two months' imprisonment. BREACH OF ARMS ACT. Twyndiam) was charged with the theft of two ladies' bicycles, valued' at £5 10s and £7 10s respectively the properties cf Myrtle Dawson and Ethel Dorothy Amelia Page.
