The Gale is to load to-day for "Wellington and Wangnnui. The" Alexander landed a cargo of sheep from Tarakohe yesterday morning and sailed for the same place for a further consignment.

j The Kennedy is due to-morrow from WeJ- ! lington, and is to load on Monday for Fox- ! ton direct. The. Rakanoa docked yesterday afternoon for cleaning and painting. She is to be floated out this afternoon, when she will j sail direct for Gisborne. to load sheep for I Lytteitoa. The Karori is exptoted on Thursday from Wellington to discharge Auckland cargo. The Wingatui loads on Wednesday for Auckland, sailing via Wellington. After being fitted with a new engine, the auxiliary schooner &ta is to sail to-day with a full cargo of produce for Kaipara., The Calm is due to-morrow from Wellington, and is to sail on Monday for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. The Opihi, due to-morrow from Auckland, is timed to sail on Tuesday on the return trip. Tho Opua is due to-morrow from Greymouth with timber, and is to sail on Tuesday for Wellington, Westport and Greymouth. The Wakahi will complete loading to-day for Kaikoura and Wellington, and is to sail to-morrow evening. The C. and D. steamer Port Elliott is due l vto-morrow from Wellington to discharge London cargo. Tho Kakapo arrived yesterday with coal from Westport, and is to sail at noon to-day for Timaru. The Waikouaiti, from Sydney, via Bluff and Dunedin, 13 now du.e on Saturday next. Mr A. B. Anderson, late seoond officer of the Kini, has joined the Kntoa in a similar capacitv, relieving Mr J. Miller. Mr Mi!W joins the Maori as second, in place of Mr L. Smith, who comes ashore for orders.
