In recognition of an act of bravery in rescuing two kittens and a dog from a burning building in Auckland in J>ecember, Master Thomas Walding, aged 13 years, was last week the recipient of a presentation book (says an exchange). / Master Walding, who is a nupil of we Newton West School, was handed the memento in the presence of 850 School mates. Miss Outhwsute, a-member of the Society for Prevention of Omelty to Animals,. mad« the presentation, the book having been given by -another member of the Society.
