The sub-committee appointed by the Australian Athletic Conference reported that New Zealand should bo exempted from further participation in the prescribed Beriea of Australasian. Championships, with the substitution of biennial Australasian Championships, and biennial home and home contests between New Zealand and combined Australia. The report also reoommended that relay races of half-mile, quarter-mile, and 220 yards be added to the programme. The committees recommendations 'vero adopted. It was also decided that the executive should take action and communicate vith different sporting bodies with a view to holding Australaedan Olympic Games. NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES. The Athletic Championships were continued to-day, and owing, no doubt, to the holiday the attendance improved, but was, nevertheless, disappointing. Taylor (Now Zealand) sprained a tendon in one of his legs on Saturday, whilo Sutherland (New Zealand) injured both ankles in the pole vault event, and was unable to compete to-day.
