WIRTH'S CIRCUS.

THE SHOW THAT IS ALWAYS NEW.

Tha one annually recurring event to which New Zealand look® forward is tho visit of Wirth's big circus. The y«<us may oome and the years may go, but Wirth's goes on for ever. The great ehow ia always tho satno, and yet it is not. The same enterprising proprietors are. <yut to giv© the amusementloving- publio the best poaaibte value for its money, tho etime urbane business manager is in charge, the same energetio advance manager heralds the huge combination's advent, but the entertainment which they combine in presenting to the delight of the Australasian public ia always now, always replete with tlio latest novelties procurable, ond is therefore an attraction of tho first magnitude. This season's tcur began under tho happiest auspices with a remarka-blo boom season in Sydney—a boom that was very obviously induced by the exceptionally fine programme presented. The same programme will bo given when the circus -visits Christehurch on Saturday night next. There figures on it an aggregation of talent which Wirth Bros, are extremely fortunate in being obk> to secure and which (the publio ar© etill more fortunate in hoing able ' to enjoy. To mention but one of tho many star acta, there is that of tho Uyeno trrmps of Japanese acrobats, whose cleverness is rivalled only by their versatility. Japs are always regarded as past musters in ncrobaticg; but with their wonderly Hisley work, lightning tumbling, and "upside down" feats, that must be seen to be at all appreciated, this quintet present a whole, shoiv in themselves, and ono al/no worth the price of admission. Over a score of other turns, all star in their own particular line, will also be presented. Tho show "will be seen on the grtmnd opposite the railway station. Matinees will bo held on Monday and the following afternoons. Tho bos plans are at Tho Bristol.
