AUSTRALIA'S CONFIDENCE IN NEW ZEALAND FINANCE.

According to late newspaper reports Australian investors have' shown a marked preference for New Zealand Controlled investments, even where the rate of. interest is somewhat less than in their own country. The rate of interest offered for The Papuan Products Debenture Issue of £12,000 is the. most liberal yet offered for similar investments in this Dominion. Ten per cent, per annum payable half-yearly, free from Income Tax is an attractive proposition where the security »so ample. The Debentures are registered as a first mortgage on the whole of the property and assets of the Company's valued conservatively at £55,000 to £60,000. Before this security could disappear the property would need to shrink to one-fifth of its actual value, .whereas, on the contrary, each year has shown a substantial increase in value, as wider areas are placed under cultivation and brought into productivity, and young tree comes into profit. A limited number of the Debentures are still available. Full information and application forms may be obtained from the office of The Papuan "Products Co Ltd..
