To the literature of theatrical mishaps Mr Otis Skinner contributes this incident through the columns of a daily paper: —"At Cir.cinatti one night when I was playing Kismet, we had trouble with our warm water pool. Instead of slightly-heatod water the pipes wero pouring jets of steam into it. I was callnd on to throw the _ Grand Vizier, Mr Hamilton Revcllc, into tho pool. We had forgotten to tell him about the flWiporature. and when he struck the water he let out a yell which we thought' would break up tho show. But it didn't., and the next day tho critics complimented Rcvellc on the spontaneous outcry he mado when I tnrew him to his doath.'?
