Arbitration of New Zealand, 'Wellington, Northern -Canterbury, Otago and Southland, and .Marlborough Industrial Districts. —In the matter of tKa Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 190 S. and its Amendments; and in the matter of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918; and in the matter of the following awards:—Wellington Industrial District ■Shearers' and ShrJ Hands Award dated the 13t.1i <lny of October, 1919 (Book of Awards, Vol. XX., p. 1120). Northern Industrial District Shearers' ar.d Shed Hands' Awaod dated' the 24th dny of October, 1919 (Book of Awards, Vol., XX., p. 1219), Canterbury Industrial District Shearers' mid Shed Hands'; Award dated the 24th day of October, 1919 (Book oi Awards, Vol. XX., p. 1257), Otago and' Southland Industrial District- Shearers' and Shed Hands' Award dated the '24 th day of October, 1919 (Book of Awards, Vol. XX., p. 12G4), bc.roug-h Industrial district Shearers' and iShed Hands' Award dated .the 24th day of October, 1919 (Book of Awards, VoL XX., i>. 1247). Upon reading • the application of the unions, parties to tho 6aid awajxis iilsd herein, and upon healing the duly appointed representatives of tho eaid unions and of the employers parties to the 6aid this Court, having regard to all tho relevant considerations and being of opinion that it i 3 just and equitable to amend tho said awards, and by virtue and in exercise of tlie powers conferred by tho said Acts and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, dotili hereby order that th« said awaid.3 shall' be amended in 'Jio manner following, that is-to say:— ■ (1) The order of this Court dated tho 81st day of August, 1920,.-.and recorded in Book of Awards, Vol. XXI., p. 1458, is hereby cancelled, and this order is substituted therefor. (2) Tho following additional sub-clnuse shall be added' to clause 17 of the said awards: (h) The minimum rates prescribed, in .the, foregoing' sub-clauses of : this, clabso ehftll bo increased by tho following bonuses .respectively unless and •until the Court elrail 1 otherwise order: "To adult workers on weekly waives, a. bonus of 13s per week ; to adult workers on hourly w-ages, a bonus of SJd per hour; to youths on weekly wage?, a bonus of 6s per week; and to youths on hourly wages, a bonus of IJd per hour."
