(Received November Sth, 10,30 p.m.) , WASHINGTON, November 7. j In the House of Representatives, Mr : Feiss, chairman of the Republican Congressional Committee, stated that the enormous Republican plurality was lareelv duo to the -women's vote, not altogether because of the Republican policy towards woman's suffrage or toward progressive measures which appeal to women's instinct and sense ot right, but to a pronounced dislike ot tho character of the Cos campaign, which was an offence to the refinement and -womanly sense of public service.
