SAVE THE CHILDREN APPEAL.
An enthusiastic meeting of the "Women's Committee of the Save tlio Children appeal was held at the Y.M.C.A. .yesterday. Mrs J. H. "Wilson opened the meeting with a few words upon tSie objects of the nppfral. Mrs Lavie was elected chairwoman of the Women's Comnvttee and Miss C. Pyne hon. secretary and treasurer. Members of the Red Cross Society who were present a creed to organise their districts for collecting. The conveners are: Mrs F. H. Pyne, eity (residential) : M r s R. Anderson, Sydenham and Bockenham; Mrs Archer and Mrs J. H. Wilson, Fondalton and Bry^dwr: Mrs Herbert. Lin wood: •M : «<; Knight and Miss Ma ling, Mc"i'*ale; Mrs Nanirr, iSnreydon; Miss Stoddart. Casihmore Hills; Mrs Worden, St. Albans. Red Cross members in other districts are being approached. Two representatives of the Catliolie Women's Red Cross attended.
