===== I The "Empire Press Union Circular" of February 12th says:—A few weeks ago our member, Mr G. H. Scholefield. brought forward the suggestion that our Union might arrange to bring before English newspaper proprietors and editors any applications from experienced colonial journalists who, having served in the Army, might desire to obtain experience before they returned home. Mr Scholefield mentioned several New Zealanders who desired such employment, with, of course,'a living wage, and we have since had referred to us two Australians. It is emphasised, however, that such applicants do not wish to prejudice returning English journalists, who naturally expect to go back tc« their old jobs. Perhaps London and provincial editors will kindly let us know ir they have any vacancies.
