FLOWER SHOW.

DARFIELD. The second Annual Show of the Darfield Home Industries and Horticultural Society •.cas a pronounced success. The entries were largely in exoess of those of the previous year, and the quality of the exhibits reflected great credit on the exhibitors. The president, Mr Robert Reid, the committee, _ and the secretary, Mr R. G. Robinson, assisted by Mis 3 Jarman, made excellent arrangements. Mr T. W. Adams had a magnificent collection of Bambusa on exhibition, and gave a description of the nature of each variety. The judges were:—Mr R. Nairn (pot plants, cut flowors, and decorative), Mr E.
