CASUALTIES.
John Elphinstono Young, employed on Mr Bowman's threshing mill* at Waddingtcn, was seriously injurod early yesterday morning. While attempting to gain access to tho whare while it was in motion, Young slipped, was dragged a short_ distance, and then fell, tho wheel passing over tho lowor portion of his body. Mr Bowman at once took tho injured man to Dr. faimpson, at Darfield, and thence on to tho Christchurch Hospital.
