OBITUARY.
—4 A Press Association message from Auckland announces the death of Canon Nelson, lato Registrar of Auckland University. Canon Nelson was born at Southvrark, England, in 1843. After holding a curacy and acting as diocesan inspector of schools in Cornwall, lie was appointed by Bishop Selwyn to St. Paul's Church, Auckland. He resigned from the charge of St. Paul's in 1907 on his appointment as Registrar of Auckland University.
