MAIISHLAXD CLUB. The Marshland Cycling Club held an o P--l handicap road iaco on Tuesday evenitrs, the couioO being 1 from tho school corner to Chaney's, thence along the Marshland road to Craddock's corner and back to tha starting point, a distance of about ton miles. Thcio v.ero eleven competitors, llie results v.ero us follow: A. Schiimtiizki, b&J scgonds (riding timo SC-min ll3cc), 1; (J. Gcodail, ecr (riding time, 20n}in oHscc), 2; A. T. Fuller, Co3eo (riding timo Blmin 25sec), o. The fastest timo for the unplaced riders was mado by It. H. Ritchie, bOscc (lidmg time, SOrnin 2Csec). A protest against or.a of the competitors for riding part of tho way on a lootpath will be considered by tho Management Committee at its nest meeting. It is probable- that tho nest race wiii bo held ou a Saturday afternoon ever a twenty-mile course.
