The very latest advice is that our soldiers were marching on to Cologne. In German territory tUe Christmas gifts will be enjoyed by our New Zealand soldiers, and possibly many more shipments will follow up the men to the enemy territory. If the Hun has hoarded "food for himself he will take much precaution against our troops partaking of his stores, ami much satisfaction will bo felt from the assurance of officers abroad that t&« parcels will go forward with tho troops. Branches are asked to accept this notice of the re-opeumg of the depot for funds and goods on February Srd 1919. ' ™
LUCKY NUMBER PRIZES: Tii, silver watch was won by ticket No. 57, and the butter cooler by tickot No. 2OS. ■
HOSTEL GOODS.—Eleven W cast's have been packed this week with clothing and socks for the men may be in camps in England or on leave at the hostels. Those goods at* consigned through the N.Z.W.C. Asso. ciation, and will be much appreciated by tho men after service on foreign soil.
The prosident, Mrs Holland, wishes to thank all the workers—men, wo. men, and school-children—who through branches, societies, schools, or individually, have throughout the year stood so loyally by the L.L.F., and enabled the organisation to so successfully carry out the object for which tho fund exists—gift parcols for men on active service.
