THE STOCKHOLM CONFERENCE. RUSSIANS MEET GERMANS. (Australian and X.Z. Cab'© Association.) STOCKHOLM, July 6. Herr Branting welcomed the Russian delegates who are conferring with the Austro-Gorman delegation. A message from Pctrograd on July Ist, said Goldenburg. Rosanov, and Smirnov, as delegates for tho soldiers, have started on a mission to enter pourparlers with all Socialist parties. They proceed first to Stockholm, then to Britain, France, and Italy. DELEGATES FROM IRELAND. COPENHAGEN, July 6. Tho Dutch and Scandinavian Socialist Committee states that the Irish Workmen's Congress is sending dolegates to the Stockholm Conference. Hie committee asks the British Labour Party to help the Irishmen to procure passports. NEW ZEALAND LABOUR ATTITUDE. (press association* telegram.) WELLINGTON, July 7. The Federation of Labour has endorsed tho recommendation of tho executive that tho Government be asked to undertake tho expense of sending a delegate to the world' 6 peace conference, convened by tho American Federation of Labour, a,t the same time and placo as tho conference to determine peace terms. * The conference has affirmed tho principle of the technical instruction of apprentices during working hours.
