The balance-sheet was considered very satisfactory, with the exception of the loss on the special train. It was decided to ask the Hon. D. Buddo, M.P., and Mr G. AV. It was decided to uphold the action of the Committee which enquired into a dispute regarding a cookery exhibit on Snow Day. The sum of £300 was voted in support of the Waipara County Queen (Mrs Tr H. Lance). The following having won Mr J. Little's challenge cups outright, it was decided that their names should be engraved on the cups:—R. C. Todhunter (draught horses), E. and TV. Mason (sheep). Mrs R. E. Wornall (house and dairy produce). A vote'of thanks was accorded the ladies of the district who generously provided the refreshments for the booth and who worked so hard to make the show a success.
